The way we have come

Founded in 1944, as a small general practice to provide business and other clients with legal counsel, LEWIS, OVERBECK & FURMAN, LLP has since matured into a full-service law firm staffed by specialists practicing on behalf of a diverse and growing clientele.

Today, these clients include privately-owned businesses and publicly-traded corporations, proprietorships and partnerships, trade associations and other not-for-profit organizations, pension funds and other types of trusts. Additionally, the firm represents many clients in service industries such as insurance, health care provision, real estate, energy and transportation.

At the same time, LEWIS, OVERBECK & FURMAN, LLP remains committed to the legal needs of the individual client. Now, as in the beginning, the firm continues to counsel private individuals in areas ranging from wills and trusts to personal injury and all aspects of business relations.
